March 27 — Sexting & Cyber-Bullying:  Session II:  In this workshop caretakers and educators will learn skills on recognition and prevention. Participants will increase their awareness and learn solutions to eradicate “Sexting & Cyber-Bullying” by having a clear understanding of the who, what, where and how’s of “bullying” as well as gain knowledge of effective methods to communicate and empower youth in making good decisions.
Time:  1PM-4PM                            Fee:  $45 per person

May 22­­­ Body Image & Self-Image:  Today’s culture promotes unrealistic and narrow standards of what is acceptable and attractive, increasing negative self-image and stress that can all too often undermine-self-esteem and encourage feelings of inadequacy. In this workshop teens will learn how to own, accept and manage their feelings and how to build self-esteem.
Time:  1PM-4PM                            Fee:  $25 per person

July 24­­­ Parent & Child Retreat:  If you are like many parents and caretakers, spending an entire day with your daughter or son is a rare treat. No phones, TV, or errands just the two of you. Through lively discussions and fun activities, parents and children will learn to discover each other, re-connect, talk and create an action plan to maintain a healthy family communication and build closer relationships together.
Time:  9AM-4PM                    Fee:  $90 per pair

August 21­­­ Sexting & Cyber-Bullying:  Session I Repeat by Popular Demand.
Session I:  This workshop is aimed at educating teens on the dangers of “Sexting and Cyber-Bullying” In this workshop teens will increase their awareness of the consequences of sending or receiving explicit sexual, harassing or threatening text messages through various means of electronic communications including social networking websites.
Time:  1PM-4PM                            Fee:  $25 per person

October 23­­ Diversity 101: We all have blind spots when living or working with other people. It’s not our fault. No matter what the Dimensions of Diversity there are misunderstandings, judgments and assumptions. There will always be days when we don’t know what to say or do. This interactive workshop looks at the many positive contributions of all individuals and offers new perspectives and skills to help you understand and get along with others better.
Time:  1PM-4PM                            Fee:  $45 per person

December 11 — Woman’s Inspirational Day:  When was the last time you took an entire afternoon away to access that powerful feminine woman within? In this workshop participants will engage in interactive dialogues, journaling, self-reflections and self-discoveries. In a safe-space participants will connect, play, rejuvenate and spend time in nature. This is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, network, relax and listen to what you need!
Time:  11AM-3PM                          Fee:  $65 per person
